As they move their feet, the beating sound of the drums and chants rise like incense to fill the room.

The battle of wits has begun as they move ever so gracefully in search for convergence in a joyful ebb and flow of motion.


This kick, like the bencao pulada, if missed, will leave one vulnerable to an attack/takedown by the opponent. This is one of the few kicks that can and should be practiced on a sandbag. (The first part of the sequence is a Martelo Cruzado, following it are Meia lua de compasso and Parafuso.)
